Our kids couldn't stop giggling whenever we lined up for a photo in the lobby. The staff were wonderfully patient and made our family feel right at home.

Really can't fault this place at all for the price. You are getting a lot of meat for your money.
Receptionist was warm and welcoming. Room was spacious with outside view. Toilet and shower were clean.
Special mention to the cook in the restaurant: he will cook anything you want at an incredibly affordable price. Brilliant person for help and advice, too.
Everything is nearby, including an IndoMaret with an ATM right opposite.
A plug socket next to the bed would have been nice.
There are a million potholes straight to the sewers in Pekanbaru, but that is not the fault of the hotel.
