We won’t stay here again.

Can’t really expect much positives in Boulder due to the crime. We had police shining lights around our windows so I’m assuming someone was hiding near us. That’s not the hosts fault tho. That’s just the town in general.

No sharp knives. 3 butter knives, 3 forks, 3 spoons for a family of 5 is ridiculous so we couldn’t eat at the same time. I had to go buy my own utensils to use so I could actually cut up veggies to cook with. Bottom bunk feels and looks like an elephant sat on one side so the kids were sleeping on top of each other because the metal frame was snapped under the mattress. Main double bed sinks into the middle and rocks around so we can’t move without the other person waking up, so we were sleeping on top of each other (not good for two adults that suffer sciatica). We all ended up dragging the mattresses out onto the floors the second night so we could actually sleep. I had to wash most of the plates. There was sauce smeared on a few. I’m assuming this would be the case because there was no dish washing liquid or plugs which we had to go buy. Dried noodles in the utensil draw. Cupboard door fell off in bathroom when I opened it to put my stuff into it and landed on my toe. 1 toilet roll to last 3 days for a family of 5 Lots of things needs maintenance done to it especially the wardrobe door handles that were almost falling off. Carpets smell absolutely filthy like dog. And I seen fleas o the toilet floor. No tea towels. Only half the toaster works. No mop bucket or vacuum so I couldn’t clean the floors when I left. It’s a shame really considering the price. They should put some money into the beds and make the comfort for the layers a priority. Cleanliness was not too bad (if you don’t look up). It’s a shame because it could have some potential to it if effort was put into it. We are definitely glad to get home after this stay.

Very spacious and nicely set up

Instructions needed for the front door pin pad. Couldn’t lock the door upon exiting. The gardens and outdoor areas could do with some tlc. Beds might need new mattresses as the couch was comfier.

The main bed was probably the comfortable part

Ants everywhere,we couldn't leave a packet of biscuits open on the bench, the fridge had ants in the inside of it, the fridge/freezer leaked water all over the floor almost slipped over, the cupboard door wore broken, the flyscreens and front/back doors need better locking systems.for over 200 a night wifi would be good, there was no yard/area for kids to play as overgrown weeds and not a tidy front area, and the lamp in main room was broken if I didn't walk in my child could of cut themselves on it
