Patrick, Marissa and Rémy are the most wonderful hosts!
Marissa has done an amazing job decorating the place with such impeccable taste, while also keeping it incredibly warm and welcoming. Expect nothing but the finest quality in all the little details, from the soft and cosy bathrobes to the wonderfully comfortable bed linen, and so much more.
Patrick went above and beyond to make our experience truly unforgettable, and somehow managed to arrange a table for us at some of the best restaurants in the area! On top of this, he shared his vast knowledge of winemaking and patiently answered all our questions, making the wine tour and tasting experience at the estate even more special.
Rémy is the absolute sweetest - always so polite and joyful, and amazingly smart!
The location is simply beautiful. It has everything one could possibly want or need, and is only a 10-minute drive from the centre of Saint-Émilion. Patrick also kindly arranged taxi rides for us whenever needed, which made everything so easy.
The Clos de la Barbanne wine is so good that we decided to increase our luggage allowance just so we could take some home! And, of course, Patrick can also arrange international delivery if needed.
All in all, this was such a special experience, and one we will remember for a very long time. We left already looking forward to the day we can return. And I simply cannot wait to go back!

The B and B is quietly luxurious with elegant touches around the room and property which really make you feel like you’re staying somewhere special - things like Le Labo products in the bathroom, a fully stocked library with games, snacks and drinks, luxury bath robes, a pétanque piste, beautiful bedroom furniture - I could go on.
Patrick and Marissa not only go above and beyond as hosts (organising dinners / lunches / bike hire on our behalf) but are totally delightful and a pleasure to chat to. Patrick also gave us a tour of his winery which we loved.
Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and served in the shade of your own veranda. We loved Marissa’s homemade granola and the pastries were the best we’d had on our trip.
We would definitely come back here.

We have a wonderful stay - the room and area was stunning and we were received with warmth and professionalism. We could not have asked for a better stay and will be returning when we are able to.

Patrick and Marisa were wonderful hosts! We had such a lovely stay at their beautiful hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean, the homemade breakfast was delicious, and their hospitality was truly exceptional. They made us feel very welcome and took great care of us throughout our stay. We also really enjoyed the delicious wine and the excellent service.
Thank you so much for making our stay so special. We would absolutely love to come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and memorable stay! ❤️
