Amazing staff. So helpful and friendly. Pods are really comfortable. Feels like a tiny private room when you close your curtain. Plus if you have one of the beds by the water you have a really pretty view. The hostel was cleaned everyday and despite many people staying it was fairly clean.
There are too many long term guests that basically occupy the kitchen. I could barely use the fridges. Also the long term guests are very clicky. Hard to make friends if that’s what you are looking for.

Great location and view from my pod. Bathrooms were modern and clean. Other guests were nice and respected the 10pm quiet time. kitchen and common areas were modern and comfortable. Outside deck was a nice addition to hangout and enjoy the warm weather.
As I haven't stayed in this type of accommodation before, I emailed the Pier Pods to ask if there were lockers available and if I needed to bring my own lock. I didn't receive a response. The email I received for check in would not send a verification code. I replied to the email a few times explaining this but didn't get a response. I called the contact number once I arrived and they requested I send a pic on my passport. I was then sent the access codes. The floor areas in the pod room was very messy with peoples personal belongings spread all over the floor.
