This location and amenities was ideal for our trip to be right next to Hallgrimskirkja, and bus stop #8 and within walking distance of the waterfront with Viking ship, grocery stores, and even bus stop #11 for excursions. This hotel also offers privacy of not having day to day intrusions of house keeping staff etc. I highly recommend this location for its location and value!

The location was great! Near the big church, close enough to walk to city centre for shopping, dining, etc. It is at the top of a hill, so be aware that walking to this location requires walking uphill when coming from city centre or BSI bus station.
The kitchenette was perfect for us. We used the fridge and microwave every day; has a coffee machine, hot plate, frying pan, dishes, glasses, cups, cutlery, and sink.
A few things need to be fixed in our room - toilet seat was loose, bathroom door was difficult to close all the way, the room door was difficult to lock, and adding hooks on walls would be helpful to keep things off the floor.
Sent a few messages via email and the response was immediate. Really appreciated that.
Overall, it was a good place to stay for a week.

Very nice efficiency apartment, located at a very convenient location for local shops, restaurants, grocery store, and excursion/bus pickups (Hallgrimskirkja church bus stop).
The way the rooms were numbered was a little confusing so signage could be better (for example, rooms 201 and 202 are on the second floor, but when you get to the second floor the rooms start with 23, 24, etc so it is very easy to feel like you are in he wrong place to find your room unless you go all the way down the hall) .
The rooms have a microwave, hot plate, mini fridge including small freezer compartment, french press, electric kettle, and Nespresso machine. Pretty much everything you need. The shower is small but you make it work.
When staff were on site cleaning rooms they were friendly and helpful.
I have no complaints except the price, but I know that the cost of all lodging across Reykjavik was increased during my stay because of the eclipse and increased tourist
Traffic. I feel like I had good value for what I got here and very much recommend staying here! A good happy medium between a hostel and a fancy hotel.
