Ok... when I arrived I was amazed at the location's beauty. Then I went along the boardwalk and entered the chateau and was just amazed. I'll say that this is the most beautiful space I've stayed in using VRBO and that's saying something. The style is old world chic and tastefully done. The space is arranged very well and functioned great for my needs. The kitchen is perfect for one or two people with plenty of utensils and cookware to allow for easy meal prep. The washer/dryer are hugely welcome. The porch overlooks the river tributary that flows past the property and it's running water fills the air with a beautiful bubbling on the right side and a rushing hiss to the left. Completely floods the audible space with peace and calm vibes.The local area is a good walking environment. I walked four of five days there and explored the farm and mountain views along the way. The "main road" can be a bit tricky to walk along with the local traffic but I didn't encounter any issues as the drivers were all cautious. The river branches that flow in the area are delightful and full of life. The flowers along the roadside are varied and beautiful. And there are cows!The Verizon signal drops about 1/2 mile from the VRBO but the internet connection makes up for that loss. I was able to work without any issues.My second thought after "wow" was "this could be a perfect place for some quiet time with my significant other...".. That's my current plan anyway!VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Lovely house by the creek. Enjoy some quiet time with my family. With it also being pet friendly, loved the place. Will definitely like to go back.

OUr Host was wonderful and was very accommodating. She made it a point to put thoughtful touches to our stay, like the delicious muffins that she left by the coffee pot.

The view and location was amazing! It was great to listen to the rushing water in the creek next to the house. Our host went above and beyond in providing a well stocked kitchen. Would stay there again!
