Mostly, everything about our stay was excellent. Very well equiped, everything new, clean, warm and comfortable. Those who slept upstairs said all was comfortable. Location excellent and peaceful. Garden very pretty.
We walked to the pizza and beer place one evening, had a take-away from the Gurkha and had a great day out at the Cotswold Wildlife Park (dog friendly). We visited the roman villa (more than we thought would be there and the little bus and Morris Minor museum too.
The beds in the 'twin' room downstairs were only 2' 6" wide!
I'd looked far and wide for a house with downstairs wet room and bedroom, so that we could stay downstairs with our our elderly dog. I'm 69 with arthitis and my husband is 6' 4". The tiny beds were not comfortable and were so small I nearly fell out on several occasions. The matresses are very firm. The room is small (with dog) and difficult to move around as door doesn't open completely with beds where they are. The room is probable best suited for teens.
