The staff were very welcoming and helpful.
I was offered tea brought to my room on arrival.
The bar was closed for one night of my stay, but I was advised the day beforehand. That wasn’t an issue at all.
The location was great. Lovely local areas. Plenty of cafes and restaurants and walks nearby. Bus stop direct to the station right outside the hotel a real bonus!
My room was light and comfortable. The shower base was not draining well and it did smell a bit. A lady cleaner had noted this as we met in passing and said it was on her list to pass on. So no need for me to me to mention.
Enjoyed my stay.
