We had an absolutely amazing stay and would definitely stay here again. We were a family of four adults and two children, and there was plenty of space for everyone. All of the bedrooms were large, with very comfortable beds, plenty of storage and excellent air conditioning, which was particularly welcome during the hot weather. The views are simply out of this world — rolling Tuscan hills, vineyards and beautiful sunsets. It is a wonderful place to sit outside and take in the scenery. The location is fantastic for exploring the area. Pienza is only around a 15-minute walk away. It is quite a steep walk, but we actually enjoyed it every day, and Pienza itself is absolutely stunning. We also visited Bagno Vignoni, which was beautiful, and walked to Montalcino, which was a lovely walk with amazing views. The accommodation is rustic, but it was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The outdoor terrace is somewhat shared with the owners and another rental villa on the property, but whenever we wanted to sit outside, the owners were very considerate and left us completely alone, so it still felt private. Most of all, the owners were incredibly friendly, welcoming and attentive. They don't speak much English, but this wasn't a problem at all — we simply used translation apps to communicate. One evening, for a small additional cost, the owners cooked us a fantastic authentic Italian meal. We all sat together to eat, including the owners, some of their friends and their elderly mother. It was such a lovely and memorable experience and really gave us a taste of genuine Italian hospitality. We also arrived much later than expected, at around midnight, but the owners stayed up to welcome us despite it being well beyond their normal check-in hours. We really appreciated their kindness.

There really wasn't much we didn't like! The kitchen is quite small, although this is very clear from the photographs and it wasn't a problem for us during our stay. The outdoor area is shared to some extent with the owners and another rental property, but in practice this wasn't an issue at all. We always felt we had privacy when using the terrace. The walk up to Pienza is quite steep, so it might not suit everyone, but we enjoyed it and thought the location was otherwise fantastic. Overall, these are very minor points compared with everything we loved about the property. We would happily stay here again and would have no hesitation recommending it.
