The apartment is conveniently located on a quiet residential street, 5 minutes’ drive from Tinganes and all the downtown restaurants. The host, Laila was easy to reach and quick to respond to messages. She was in the apartment to welcome us when we arrived. She lives in the apartment next door which has a separate entrance.
The apartment is HUGE and spacious. I won’t say it’s brand new, as some areas are showing wear and tear, but we found the place very clean. Bedroom furniture is simple and functional. Beds are comfortable. Furniture in the living room and dining room is more old-fashioned. There are lots of storage space. Kitchen is well equipped for preparing your own meals. There’s an instant hot (drinking) water system installed in the kitchen sink – very convenient for making teas. The 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms (1 with shower; 1 with bathtub) are perfect for our group (3 couples plus another adult). One bedroom is near the entrance, next to a bathroom. The other 3 bedrooms are located at the other end of the apartment, next to the second bathroom. The full-size washer and full-size dryer were a big plus for us – much more efficient than the small washer+dryer combo we had in other accommodations on this trip.
I would have rated this apartment as 10 for its spaciousness, cleanliness, amenities, layout, reasonable rent and a friendly host. I deducted two points for the following even though they didn’t affect our stay, but I think other guests should be made aware.
The apartment is on the 2nd floor (which isn’t mentioned on booking.com). The stairs are on the exterior. This may be a concern for guests who have difficulty bringing their luggage up and down. Downstairs are some commercial/industrial businesses (or a warehouse?), although we never came across anyone during our stay. We were caught by surprise arriving at a warehouse-looking building when we were expecting a residential house. Once we saw the apartment, there was no issue.
The driveway in the private parking area is all broken with loose gravel and cracked asphalt. We didn’t want to park our rental car there, risking tire damage. Luckily, there’s ample free parking on the street.
The dining table and chairs are quite worn out and stained. Time for replacement.
I would still recommend this apartment for a family or big group looking for a comfortable, clean space close to downtown, if the price is right.

Fantastyczne miejsce i gospodyni. Nieskazitelnie czystko, wszystko przygotowane zgodnie z ustaleniami i doskonały kontakt z właścicielką. Dom jest duży, przestronny, bardzo przyjemny. Polecam, chętnie zatrzymam się tam ponownie.

Logement avec de très grandes pièces très claires et deux très belles salle de bain. La cuisine est très bien équipée et la décoration très chouette fait qu'on n'a pas l'impression d'être dans une location impersonnelle. On se rend facilement à pied dans le centre ville et il y a aussi un bus municipal, gratuit, pour revenir si on le souhaite.
La propriétaire et ses parents sont charmants et très attentifs et les chocolats, les bières et le vin qui nous ont accueillis ont été appréciées!
