The vibe of this property and its surrounding area is amazing! The room was so comfortable, the comfiest I’ve ever stayed in, and the hosts were so helpful and accomodating. We last minute realized that our check in time request never went through, and they worked very hard to make sure we could still get in early. They personally explained everything to us when we got there and everything went smoothly.

The apartment was comfortable, clean, and convenient to where we wanted to go in NYC. Our hostess was responsive to questions and concerns.
There was an extensive list of rules that the host wanted to make sure we had read and followed. It would have been better to have included this information in the listing so that people could be aware of this before booking.

The rooms were on the second floor of a beautiful house and we had the area to ourselves. The family was really friendly and the neighborhood is nice, very close to Central Park as well as Columbia university. I wanted to stay for a longer term but the rooms were rented out already. Perfect for visiting scholars or exchange students looking to stay a few months.

The apartment is great and the location is fantastic
Unfortunately we felt more like unwanted intruders than like guests. We were welcomed with a long list of rules and regulations and immediately admonished for having a third guest (in a two-bedroom apartment that sleeps 4) and asked to pay more. I understand the need for rules, and the people I interacted with in person were kind and well-meaning, but the interactions as a whole made us feel very uncomfortable.
