Comfortable bed, very clean room, fully separate / private bathroom (not always the case in Sri Lanka) and our host Sherika was extremely accommodating and responsive via WhatsApp, although we did not see her in person until we were leaving. We were served breakfast in our room and all other requests were also met by her young son (and on one occasion even younger daughter). We were woken fairly early on Sunday morning by the sound of Catholic worshippers at a nearby church, but this only added to the charm - and apart from that and a few early roosters it was very peaceful as down the end of a cul de sac. I requested fruit and a Sri Lankan breakfast on our second / last morning and received a large quanity of fruit and several excellent coconut rotis, alongside our plentiful sausages and fried eggs, which was fine. We managed to lose our key on Saturday night and felt guilty that it was our host's young son who had to let us into our room at 1am, but Sherika was very understanding. This is a simple but comfortable guest house we would stay in again. (NB we actually upgraded to a larger upstairs room as it was available and a bit more spacious, and still amazingly good value.)
The boy who took care of us is young and shy with limited English, so communication with him was a bit difficult. But he was very kind.

A little out of town but really easy to catch a tuk tuk in.

Superbe accueil, la famille est organisé pour que tout se passe bien. Le petit déjeuner est très bon. L’hôtel est toujours prêt à aider en cas de besoin. Je recommande vivement pour votre stop à negombo
