Hirtshals is very remote and just stopping off point if you’re catching a ferry. The flat is a perfectly good place to s

The flat was very centrally located in Hirtshals and when I arrived, I had to call Dennis who helpfully provided me with the key code that Booking.com had failed to do. Place was clean and cozy given it was incredibly windy and cold.

Not so much the property but the service Booking.com provides which is, to say the least, lacking and haphazard.

Comfortable one night stay.

The room and the bed were very comfortable. Although small, it had everything that we needed to spend the night after the ferry before driving home the next day. The shower was warm, the bathroom was clean, the WiFi was good.

The lockbox code wasn't shared in time so I had to call the owner to ask for the lockbox code. The room was on the second floor with only stair access. Although not a problem for us, this could be a problem for some people.

1. Great location to be ready for a ferry. 2. Good value for money. 3. Good hospitality and response. 4. Great town view at the balcony. 5. Parking inside!

1. The mattress was too soft. 2. Better to have a stove or an electric induction.
