Aircon, central location, clean, comfortable, kitchen with fridge, typically Italian being in the courtyard, quiet.
Access (opening front doors) was a little problematic for someone travelling and limited access to email and the instructions.

The location was fantastic: just 4 minutes from Lanza Station, Piazza del Cannone, Pinacoteca di Brera, and a 15-minute walk to the Duomo di Milano. There are also plenty of nice cafés and restaurants nearby.
If you read reviews older than mine, you’ll see that nothing has been made up or exaggerated. Here are the main downsides:
• The building entrance door. I assume the key copies are worn out, because it was extremely difficult to unlock the door. On all four evenings of my stay, I had to get creative just to get into the building, each time spending 15–30 minutes trying to open it.
• Overall condition of the apartment. The apartment is generally nice, but it feels run down. There are black marks on the walls from suitcases and shoes which makes it look a bit neglected. It would need some proper maintenance and repainting to look refreshed.
• Bathroom. The main light flickers constantly and needs to be fixed as soon as possible. However, when the light is turned off, the ventilation doesn’t work. As a result, the bathroom smells damp and slightly moldy, which is quite unpleasant.
• Elevator area. When you step out of the elevator, the first thing you notice is a stain from garbage bins placed in the hallway. The apartment door is also very narrow, so it takes a bit of creativity to get in and out. 😊
• Safety concerns. I might be mistaken, but I didn’t notice any smoke alarms or other visible safety features, which is concerning—especially considering the electrical issue with the flickering light.
