Nothing to dislike. Pool was great. Very clean villa.
Very steep driveway, wasn’t a problem for us as we are mid 50’s and able bodied, but could be a problem for elderly or disabled.

As described the villa was in a beautiful setting in the hills with far reaching views towards the sea
Villa size and layout was perfect for our 4 adults and 2 children family stay we had all planned for my son's 40th birthday
We knew the area well and Loule being so close was great with quick and easy access to the sea and roads to the rest of The Algarve.
Gradient of road is very steep but villa description carries a warning.
Uncleanliness on arrival- not properly presented or prepared
Owner apologetic but defensive & said no one else had been unhappy- sadly I said not our experience this time
Inside:
Kitchen was unclean as though all done in a rush as last guests checked out
Fridge dirty on all shelves/drawers and we had to clean out before we put our shopping in
Two unwashed greasy pans in the oven (found after cleaner left)
Two drawers dirty due to food spillage
Surfaces needed cleaning
Sink waste still had food bits
Dishwasher filter unclean
Dirty sponge left for us to use
Plastic chopping boards all cracked
Damp beach towel in main bedroom as though someone had used or not dried properly
Outside area
Sun loungers dirty and obviously not cleaned from last guests
Several sun lounger covers split or damaged
Parasol bases x3 were all broken /not working - plenty of umbrellas in good condition to use but unable to place in damaged bases-no protection all week!
Gradient issues with large rental car-wheels were smoking trying to park. Experienced driver of larger vehicle felt was not safe as heat wave was causing extra heat to wheels on gradient
Hot water stopped for day-owner sent someone-had to wait all day as he was working
Contacted owner after arrival and he apologised about cleaning and agreed to send cleaner few hours later
Outside parking- owner kindly advised on alternative parking and routes to use. Neighbours above not happy we were told we could park outside a disused garage at top of hill outside villa. Both owner and the son made their objections known. We parked further along the road above villa
Neighbours three dogs on last few days straying into terrace area.Barking a lot as cars or people pass. One large dog that should not be on the road on occasions was. Came to terrace growling last night. Not villa owner fault as not aware until told him at end.
