Lots of space and quality furnishings throughout. The welcome pack was a nice surprise and not mentioned in the booking.
Heritage railway running past the end of the garden was a lovely sight too!
Nothing with the property, though the location is pretty tricky to get to and up some VERY windy lanes!!!

A lovely, spacious and well kept property, a real home from home with everything we needed. The welcome treats were a thoughtful and appreciated touch.
Fantastic views and lovely to see the steam train pass by at the back.
An ideal location to get to the usual tourist destinations and Yr Wdffa and surrounds.
A really nice base to come back to after a day on the mountains.
Nothing - but surrounding roads are quite steep and narrow haha

Makes a nice change to find somewhere that is bigger than looks on the photographs. Lovely spacious property. Very clean. Perfect for a family holiday. Our reason for staying was a visit to Portmeirion and this was located perfectly. Very quiet area. Lovely surprise in that a small steam railway runs right behind the house, which our 4 year-old niece thought was brilliant. Even this is fairly quiet so won’t disturb your time at the house. Very comfortable stay.
Not really a dislike but no outdoor space. We didnt need it but can imagine it would be wanted in summer time or for longer stays.
Cannot leave dog unattended. Didn’t realise this when we booked as the property is advertised as dog friendly, so assumed this would be ok. Didn’t take the dog with us in the end.
Parking is tight but manageable.

Property was very spacious and immaculately clean throughout. All of the family were impressed with the accommodation. Communication with host was clear, concise and accurate - nothing was too much trouble.
Lack of private outdoor space - although we knew this wasn't available when booking and didn't spoil our stay
