Please note that this property uses a well water source, which is common for cabins in the Smoky Mountains. Due to the natural minerals in the water, you may notice a strong sulfur smell. Rest assured, the water is safe for use and adds to the authentic mountain experience. The cabin has a water filtration system for sulfur from the well. If you have any concerns or questions, feel free to reach out to us ahead of your stay!

The property was exactly as described plus a bonus room that has a queen/twin bunkbeds. The cabin was very clean, with no bugs in sight. A generous gift of starter items that lasted us through our stay. Plenty of towels and washcloths. There is a very loved pool table and foosball table upstairs that the kids loved playing with. The calls were spotty at times, but the Wi Fi was fantastic. They were not kidding about the strong sulfur smell, but the pressure was good on all three floors and we never ran out of hot water. The kitchen is stocked well, with you really only needing to bring food and seasonings. We all slept very well here, and I suprisingly did not wake up with a sore back like I normally do while traveling. The host was very quick to respond to my messages before and during our stay. After we checked out it was a different story. I messaged an hour after I left because I left my wedding rings. I have not heard back. But, they DO warn they are not responsible for you leaving things. Lesson learned. Unless you are a seasoned mountain driver, I HIGHLY suggest not coming by way of E Miller's Cove Rd. Drive the extra distance especially if it is dark. All in all, its a decent place, especially if you have older kids. There is plenty of room and privacy.

Cabin was very clean, communication with host was excellent, beautiful location. We unfortunately didn’t get to use the fireplace but the host was extremely communicative about that. Well paved road leading up to the house. Overall a great stay and would stay again!

Pros: Everything in the listing is exact.All the rooms were excellent. The place was clean. Very private. Cons: The speed bumps were TERRIBLE !! Scrapped every bit of my vehicle no matter how slow I went. I have a Hyundai Sonata. Maybe lengthening the bumps a little could help. The shower pressure in the bedroom in the bottom floor is nonexistent. The main floor did not have a running shower and you can definitely smell the water… On top of it all, I was unaware of the construction. We were woken up every morning by loud construction. Had I had known that they were building new cabins right in front of the cabin I rented, I definitely would not have rented it. Although the construction workers apologized, it doesn’t take from the fact that we were disturbed just about everyday on our vacation except for the last 2 days there. As cool as the cabin may have been, I would not have rented it had I been aware of the construction, terrible water pressure, and rough speed bumps.
