This compound feels like an expensive destination for small weddings or similar events. Everything felt... expensive! Beautiful grounds, beautiful rooms, a classy restaurant that was surprisingly affordable.
Location was an old watermill at the end of a 3k residential road, some of that road dirt. The isolation is what made it special, but some might be frustrated that nothing was really in walkable distance.

Because I have been traveling Ukraine on a bike I've always been selecting places in downtowns - places close to a grocery store, a place or two to eat, and perhaps an ATM. This is the opposite experience. Property is about 3 kilometers down a small riverside road, some of the road not paved. Then the road ends at a manned security gate. Inside the gate: a perfectly-groomed property, with a few perfectly-maintained buildings. When I showed-up staff were outside tidying up... the place was already perfect, but the vibe was a small, high-end hotel prepping for a wedding or some other important event. I spent two nights here; there never was such an event. Just lots of staff keeping a perfect place perfect.
With no dining alternatives, I expected the on-site restaurant to be expensive. It wasn't, especially for the quality of the experience. A nice pork dish was $11, a vegetable plate $8, an omelette $7, a glass of the house red $3.40.
I'm a beer guy. Remarkably, the restaurant didn't offer beer! I'm also a practical guy; the perfect hotel room has a desk area, a desk chair, desk lighting, a waste basket, etc. My room had what I needed but aesthetics seemed to matter more than function. (Another example of form over function: the curtains didn't close over the window.) That said, would I stay here again? Definitely.

Все сподобалось, але перед тим як поселятись - обовʼязково зʼясуйте з якої сторони вʼїзд (бо нас повело ґрунтовою дорогою, в якій мало не зупинились)
