Excellent stay.

Very nice property right on the main road . Metro 2 min away .Bus stand across the road .Everything you need you will get in this apartment. Very clean and nicely done .

Excellent Home Away from Home

This is a nice place to come home to after a day of exploring Athens. It is conveniently located close to the Metro and even closer to several bus lines (including one that takes you to the local beaches!) The area felt pretty safe and the building secure. The neighborhood (Koukaki) has a lively nightlife with several bars and restarants that are easily within walking distance. At first, I felt like the apartment was a bit far away from nightlife, but that's only if you walk on that main street toward the Metro stop. If you venture into the neighborhood in most directions, you will find more hospitable restaurant and social scene. The apartment itself is cozy. The AC works great and it is full of amenities, including coffee maker, mini fridge, portable clothesline, steam iron and other stuff. Really everything I needed was available. They even provided coffee, snacks, and water- which was really nice! The shower had great pressure and a luxurious showerhead. The balcony is spacious, but it's on a pretty busy street so not especially relaxing to hang out on unless it is 4am. The apartment is pretty quiet inside though, I couldn't hear the majority of the street noise. The AC worked well and quickly to cool the room and the elevator also worked the entire time which was lovely because the apartment was on the 5th floor. Oh also it has a view of an ancient monument on a hill!

I would have liked to be greeted by someone in person upon arrival. The new norm seems to be self check-in and self check-out. While the staff made this very convenient, it made the experience less personal. Also, I had a little trouble locating the place with Google Maps, but it was my own error, as the staff had sent me pictures of the location that would have made it easy to find if I had read those messages ahead of time.
