First let me start with I'm an idiot and didn't read the instructions properly! There are two staircases to the first floor, and this apartment is via the second staircase across a courtyard!!!! Once we were helpfully directed to the second staircase by the residents of the flat we were trying to break into (!) We were delighted with the apartment it was actually better than expected. The main room was a sitting room come master bedroom. Comfortable chairs, a big tv with streaming services, large Windows overlooking the courtyard and one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in. The second bedroom is smaller but big enough for our teen to have some privacy. The kitchen was small but had everything you need (and more! Why would I cook for myself in Paris?!) And biscuits and water in the fridge were greatly appreciated. Then separate toilet and bathroom, helpful if you have a hygiene obsessed teen! And there is also an office which I used as my dressing and make up room. Considering the heatwave the apartment was comfortable and the fan provided was far superior to any fan I've owned. The area is super convenient for gare du nord and gare l'est which is great for exploring Paris and further afield. Considering this the apartment was very quiet. I would say the area is, understandably, a little spicy, think kings cross, Euston areas but don't let that put you off I never felt unsafe and despite all the bad press Paris gets we came home with everything we arrived with 😉 and so, so much more.
Delighted that there was a physical key to collect and easy to do however marginally annoying to have to walk past the apartment to collect them and then walk back to the apartment but that is a minor quibble!

Nettes Apartment in zentraler Lage, nur wenige Gehminuten vom Gare du Nord entfernt. Die Betten sind äußerst bequem, und das Apartment ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen Kurzaufenthalt benötigt. Wir waren an einem sehr heißen Wochenende dort. Trotz der hohen Außentemperaturen blieb das Apartment bei geschlossenen Fenstern angenehm kühl, sodass man sich dort nachmittags gut ausruhen konnte. Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung!
Ein zusätzliches kleines Handtuch pro Person wäre wünschenswert gewesen.

Location was great and 5 mins to Gare De Nord Train Station. Great lay out with a decent kitchen set up.
Complicated access using smart app, had to ring the host to gain access and then talk through the process. Fine eventually but took up time. Need to research before if never used Nuki App to open smart doors.

Un peu de bruit au dessus de l'appartement après 23 heures sinon tout était super.
