The place itself is in a beautiful location. Perfect at the moment being the only one rented, it seems they are adding a couple more 'lodges' quite close together so I imagine the peaceful private vibe might be lowered in coming months when they are launched. It looked very 'instagramable' and the heated blankets in the bed were a life saver.
It was incredibly cold outside of the bed (where heated blankets kept you warm) the small electric radiator and storage heater did very little to warm the space. The floors were absolutely freezing cold, it might be beneficial to offer some "hotel slippers" for guests visiting because we really didn't want to have to get out of the bed. We were lucky to see the northern lights through the roof but we did have to cover the emergency exit sign as the constant green light emitted from the sign made it impossible to see anything outside when it was dark. I know this is a safety feature, but it's good to be aware of if you are considering booking.
