Agréable et paisible

La villa était spacieuse, agréable et bien équipée. L’hôte a été très accueillante. Propreté impeccable et le jardin est agréable.

Petit détail, mais la piscine mériterait d’être rénové (coque qui s’écaille)

super, magnificent, high quality place to stay!

Everything at Scarlet villas was fantastic! It really is a marvelous place to spend your holiday. The host Helder is really kind and helpful. He really makes an effort to make holiday at Scarlet hotels perfect!

If one has to name something, it would have be location. It's located at a rough road and you NEED a car to do anything at all in the neghbourhood. But hey, some people are looking for this, so depending on who's reading, this location is maybe even better then expected.

This place is amazing to rest and recharge!

The manager was very attentive and friendly. There was no electricity when we arrived because of heavy rain, so he gave us one more night for feee and upgraded our villa.

Nice large outdoor kitchen, sound of birds, the villas are separated by beautiful gardens, pool was great, quiet property, I don't think the restaurant/ bar were open but a very cool set up when it does. When you book you get an email full of great recommendations and a hard copy when you arrive. I actually think a Sedan would make it up the road, not as treacherous as many of the Costa Rican roads I've been on. What I like most of all was that Casey the owner and Helder the manager really helped us out above and beyond and because of that we enjoyed the end of our vacation way more than we could have ever expected.

This isn't a dislike just a recommendation for visitors: The AC unit is in master bedroom so just keep bathroom window open to outside and the door closed. This way the cool air can travel from master to the second bedroom and you should be cool enough.

The facility is lovely, and the staff exceptional.

The front desk was fabulous - Helder worked hard at making our stay enjoyable.

We booked a two bedroom villa, but got a large bedroom with a couch and a twin bed in the kitchen. Looks like they swapped out the bed and the couch to make a "two bedroom." Not great.

We stayed for 2 weeks and enjoyed every minute. We loved the property and visiting the local area.

The property has been renovated over the last few years and it looks wonderful! The owner has made upgrades such as a yoga deck, outdoor workspaces, a games area and a lounge . The pool is located in a beautiful setting with evening lighting, gazebo and lounge chairs on the deck. The pool is well kept and clean. The villas are very nice and clean, with outdoor patios and kitchens. All the staff are excellent, in particular Casey (owner), Helder (manager), Kenneth and Carlos are extremely friendly and always offering to help you in any way they can. Helder is always available to answer questions, help with information on local attractions and address any concerns. The property has a beautiful setting and we always felt safe and comfortable.

Everything was excellent.

This place is so beautiful and well appointed! It's comfortable and cute. Its lush. Its clean. Its undestated luxury. it's affordable! It's built into a hill and the flow of the villas climbing up the hill gathered around the sea salt pool is picturesque. I loooooved it! And the have a cat named scarlet who hangs out with you.

delightful stay in heaven

it is so beautiful and peaceful. Tucked away in the jungle with Toucans, howler monkeys and all kinds of exotic birds to see.

the road up to it is treacherous when you first go there. I finally got used to it but it needs grading badly.

Great Villa

It was clean, spacious, the kitchen was well equipped. The host Aaron was very friendly and welcoming, and even gave us a bottle of wine as a gift - very thoughtful I must say!

During the morning it was a bit loud as they are currently going under some remodeling. Don’t get me wrong, the plans they have are great but just gotta deal with it while they are done. The visit took place during the rainy season, so it would’ve been nice to have a TV in the room as there wasn’t much to do outdoors due to the heavy rain. Also, the place itself didn’t feel that close to downtown, it was about 20 mins away. There were just few places to eat out close by.

Villas Fantasticas!

Our villa was perfectly equipped and crazy comfortable for our month long stay. Loved watching the toucans from the pool, hearing the howlers call from those towering trees, spotting blue morphos, the croaks of the frogs at night, swinging in the hammock, eating breakfast on the terraza... oh, did I mention that pool and the gardens? Lovely! All lovely!
