Stayed for 5 nights in an amazing hotel with amazing service. Family run it has that personal touch. The location is truly one the best features, a short stroll to the blue mosque, cistern and other major attractions. We hardly needed a taxi. The breakfast was well prepared and very tasty and the girls attended to all our needs. The staff went out of their way for us collecting our laundry, walking with us for directions, advising on best prices etc. Special mention to the young lad at reception, he was so nice and helpful and went out of his way to help us. The rooms are compact but functional clean and comfortable. It’s a small hotel and being at the end of a road hardly any through traffic or noise. I would book again for sure!

The position of the hotel is perfect, 10 minutes close to all the main attractions such as Ayasofya Mosque, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and the Basilica Cistern. The room was very clean and the breakfast is nice (you cannot chose between options, they serve Turkish breakfast with cheese, olives, eggs, bread, cake/cookies and you can choose what to drink). The hotel has a private parking right in front of its entrance, so no need to walk around with suitcases.
There is no elevator (it might be a problem for someone) and our room at the 3rd floor was small for two people. The bathroom and the bedroom were almost the same size! Once arrived we picked our outfits for the whole stay since we had no space to keep the suitcase opened. However, I think the size of the room depends from the fact that the building is ancient. The guys at the reception are very nice, but I will suggest to improve the English (actually is an issue in most hotels we stayed at).

The location was quite good, also quiet at night. There is 24h reception available. Each morning we got a freshly fried egg.
The room was small and it lacked soundproofing. The breakfast was served (no self-service) and wasn't that rich- it lacked variety (maybe for us coming from EU), although they were trying and the stuff was nice. I especially missed fruit (I learned that fruit is very expensive in Turkey) and some days they were out of butter.
