Very comfy beds; good showers; kitchen had some good kit; good sized dining room table, but no sofa; good parking; right on the beach; a washing machine and dryer; very spacious; we loved the sunsets, the birds, the whales and a pod of dolphins. The house is amazing, with great places to visit up and down the coast or just sitting outside/walking down the beach.
Sadly, the house is also in great need of some TLC. The third bedroom upstairs smells, the paint is peeling, the main door outside can’t be closed without two people shoving hard. When they say they don’t provide toiletries, that includes handwashing soap in the toilets and bathrooms; in the kitchen there is absolutely nothing, not even salt and pepper. They could also provide some info on what to do (Elands Bay hotel for lunch, for eg), where the mini market is, etc.

It was magical, from start to finish. Right on the beach... and for a winter break, the weather was fantastic and not a breath of wind. Relaxing in the hot tub, facing the ocean was just the cherry on top !!!
The main room faced the ocean and soaked up the sunshine all day long.
There was nothing that I didn't like about the trip... it was pure joy

The location - you cannot beat that and the beds and bedding were amazing and of course the kids LOVED the entertainment room.
Really small silly things: a good set of knifes, the ones there are really pretty but quite blunt. I would also move the TV in the bar lower into the sitting area, it was hard to watch sport (yes unfortunately South African men need to watch sport even on holiday) as a group whilst still enjoying the outdoor space.

Maintenance of the house is in dire need of attention. Alarm system non existent.
Dstv aerial needs replacing.
