La gentillesse de la propriétaire et son fils qui nous a proposé de nous amener acheter à manger à un shop. Nous sommes arrivés de nuit et rien de dispo pour manger tout proche.
Lits au top.
On a eu le déjeuner offert et la proprio nous a emmener au port pour prendre le bateau pour 400baths.

We chose Duck Cafe because it was closer to the ferry than most others. It is fairly new and the room was very clean, modern and as the photos show. The bed was very comfortable and the hot water in the shower good. While there was a significant language barrier the host was very helpful when there was no where for us to eat dinner within several Kms so she drove us to a restaurant and picked us up as well. We really appreciated that as otherwise we would have done without dinner after a long day travel. So a huge thank-you to her!
While the room was very good, and the host very kind, we feel it important to others to say that there were no restaurants open within walking distance for dinner, so plan ahead for that. Either eat in Trat on the way to duck cafe or prearrange a ride from the host. Also, a heads up, if you don't speak Thai that communication will be very difficult. The dogs on the property were a bit aggressive, and hold on to your hat if you get a ride to the ferry. I know Thai driving can be fast but 110 kms in a 50 km zone unnerved even my husband who asked her to please slow down (I was in the back seat with no seatbelt too!).
