We had a wonderful time here. The accommodation has been furnished and decorated by Asami with great care and lots of love. In addition to a delicious breakfast, she also offers massages. I booked a Thai massage, which was the perfect complement to my relaxing stay.
Asami is a very warm and caring person, and we will remember our time there fondly.
Kawazu is also a great base for exploring the Izu Peninsula. We had a car and enjoyed taking several beautiful day trips from there.

The host was incredible, kind, giving and even gave me an opportunity to fully experience the fun and fulfilling life Kawazu (the summer festival) !
Clean, comfortable, fun and gives a fulfilling experience.
Transportation is a bit rough, but the host was very helpful and drove me to the station during my checkout!

I had a wonderful stay at Surya. Asami manages the guesthouse all by herself making you feel comfortable and relaxed. The house is really big and cozy. There are 4 spacious bedrooms with different styles and all equipment you need such towels and hairdryer. The common areas, living room and bathroom are always clean and completed with all goods you may need. Asami provided all of us with many recommendations, even drove us to Shimoda to enjoy the fireworks and to the station even though the guesthouse is conveniently located a few minutes away from the bus stop. From the guesthouse I enjoyed walking in Kawazu, to and from the beach and round the corner there are a few Onsen including Mine Onsen that is very popular! Hopefully will go back for Sakura in February as Kawazu turns into a magical stream of flowers in bloom along the river.
