I stayed in Caritas Rest Room no 101 with my wife one day last week (13 to 14 ්රMay 2026. I came to know later that this Rest is run by a charitable organization.
The room was clean, comfortable and peaceful without any outside distractions and disturbances.

Very pleased & it was a pleasant stay....Staff was really welcoming & helpful...Worth the 💰 spent...Very convenient as Caritas Rest is only a few minutes walk from both the railway & the bus stations...Can safely recommend to any travellers who wish to organize their trip in & around Galle City....

Staying here in Galle was a truly special experience. It is a real oasis of peace, located away from the hustle and bustle of the Fort, making it perfect for those seeking quiet and tranquility.
The highlight of this place, beyond the peacefulness, is the opportunity to contribute through your stay to the projects that Caritas carries out in the area. Knowing that your stay supports initiatives that are vital for the well-being of the local society makes the experience even more meaningful.
My room was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with excellent air conditioning. I wish them all the very best and strongly recommend anyone visiting Galle to stay here: it’s the best way to enjoy a refreshing break while also playing a part in an important cause.

La struttura è molto vicina alla stazione dei treni e al forte
La camera era pulita e anche il bagno, ma credo ci fossero le cimici del letto perché mi sono ritrovata piena di punture! Sicuramente c'erano tante zanzare! La camera è decisamente minimal e di sera è molto scuro
