Calm, quiet corner of Cabourg

A lovely new side by side house in a quiet area with easy street parking

The kitchen was large and had several implements and extras necessary for cooking (salt and pepper etc). The bathroom was new and the shower worked very well. There was easy street parking around even in summer and you are in walking distance of a supermarket and bakery and even the center of town is not far. Great location!

There were a couple of things that weren’t working (the automatic sky light in one room (but fantastic in the other) and the freezer door was really hard to open). We also found the bed in the main bedroom at least to be very hard.

Cabourg delight

The proximity of Maison calme to central Cabourg and Dive sur mer. Inside the property, we found a well equipped kitchen with a washing machine, microwave, fridge, and regular oven/hob.A big plus are the comfortable beds. Finally, the rainfall shower worked perfectly.

Great small house with everything you need for an enjoyable stay!

The property looked a little odd from the outside but inside it was perfect, with plenty of space for two adults and a child. Everything we needed was there and the location was great for walking to the beach, or to the nearby Lidl or Intermarché for supplies. A safe place to walk to/from and we had no problem parking on the street around the corner (Av. Pasteur). Virginie messaged us beforehand and we agreed a time to meet at the house. Virginie was waiting for us with the keys and walked us around the house to show us the facilities and answer any questions that we had.

The bathroom sink plug didn't close and one of the bedroom doors was a bit creaky, but that's if I was being picky, these are very minor points and did not impact the enjoyment of our stay. The weather wasn't good enough to take advantage of the terrace (February) so we weren't able to try that, but it looked good.
