Experience New Castle like a local in this 2-bedroom cabin and built for relaxation. Open floorplan layout with deck surrounding the custom log cabin that overlooks Craigs Creek. Walk down the ramp to the creek or grill at the deck. A flagstone patio is built right at the edge of the slope for the peaceful creek sounds. Lots of privacy and very modern design! Cell phone coverage for most providers and high speed internet available!

Everything about this place was perfect for our week away. The setting, the house and the host were all amazing! The cabin was truly gorgeous and Craig creek is perfect for fishing and kayaking or just sitting on the porch and taking it all in. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you for being so responsive, Sonny!

Had a wonderful time even with the rain. Having firewood provided was an extra bonus. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful cabin.

I cannot share enough about this experience. The host is wonderful to work with. Every detail has been thought of inside and outside of the cabin. The property is beautiful. My greatest regret is that I didn’t have more time to stay and relax to enjoy it more. It simply means I will have to come back. An added bonus that we learned later is that he owns three properties along the street so friends could book the same times and all have our own space but also get together. I am thrilled with this find. Side Note: We used the cabin during Virginia Tech’s Graduation Weekend. It isn’t a bad drive, we had no issues with traffic to and from Blacksburg. I still recommend booking early.
