There was a very well equipped shared kitchen which made it easy and practical to prepare my own food. There was a good supply of hot water. The bed was comfortable and the owner was quick to respond to any needs or shortcomings that came up. I was able to leave my luggage on my departure day when I had a late flight out. The location is excellent and it was very secure.
A small inconvenience, but it would have been good to know in advance of the booking that to access the private bathroom one had to go into a shared area and navigate a step to get there.
Much of the time this was not a problem, it did depend upon the other guests, some of whom were in the courtyard a lot causing slight embarrassment as the sink wasn't behind a door- but in the courtyard a few feet from an eating/lounging area, even a screen would help. Remembering to lock the bathroom all the time was inconvenient yet important because otherwise the other guests thought it was a shared facility for communal use from the kitchen and courtyard.
