The location was remote but close enough to major sites that a 15 minute drive was all that was needed. The host was lovely and offered breakfast which we had on the last day, it was delicious and from local farms. We paid £10 and got more than we were expecting. The hut was nice, comfortable and clean. The facilities and amenities were just what was needed, plenty in there to get you through a nice short break. We would highly recommend both the hut and the host.

I love everything about Daphne! It’s a clean, well thought out spacious hut with a good comfortable bed, quality linen and towels, a well equipped kitchenette and a surprisingly large luxury rain shower! There’s also a good wifi connection. It’s positioned in a paddock overlooking a field of sheep and although there’s another hut nearby you’re hidden from each other’s view so it feels really private. There’s a pub within walking distance and Wedmore village is just 4/5 minutes by car which has a couple of pubs and some other eateries, a village store and a few other shops. The location is great for visiting everything Somerset has to offer. This is my 3rd stay with Jane, she’s a lovely host and makes a superb breakfast delivered to your hut if requested…. I highly recommend you do! I’m already planning my return.

Very warm and welcoming

The shower was clean and bigger than expected
There was no parasol for the table outside, and no table inside. We didn't get to meet our hosts.
There were people sat in the way of the path when we come back from trying to find a pub nearby. And the other hut was a bit close, we could hear them all the time, as well as the traffic and strimmer. not really the quiet retreat we were hoping for.
