** We arrived in Norway on the evening of the World Cup final and were concerned about being able to watch the match. The owner actually bought a tv and tv stand before we arrived just for this occasion and demonstrated how we could view the match! This was amazing! **
The road approaching the property was a bit steep and narrow compared to what we are accustomed to, but we adapted quickly. It’s a short quiet street with no traffic, so not difficult to navigate.

We had a fabulous 3 nights stay. Truly a home away from home. Exceptionally clean rooms and bathrooms, more than adequate linen and towels. Beds were extremely comfortable to sleep in. Very clear instructions on access to the apartment and facilities. Very well equipped and spacious kitchen- we made meals in the apartment, and we had every kitchen equipment, dishes and cutlery that we could have asked for - and the espresso machine was a bonus!
The apartment itself has an amazing view over the harbour, lots of natural light and ventilation with wide windows facing out from the living room and bedrooms. If you don’t want to step out, you can spend hours in the living room or the patio just looking out.
Location is very convenient too, groceries and shops and waterfront within 5-10 minutes walk away. Nikolas and Halyna are great hosts, it is evident that they have taken great care to make guests feel at home. And Nikolas remained available on call even though we had a very late arrival into Alesund past midnight.
This is an exceptional property, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone visiting Alesund.
