Kantun Ungasan is my favourite place to stay whenever I’m in Uluwatu. I’ve stayed here so many times I’ve honestly lost count, from a couple of nights to a whole month, and I always love coming back.
Jannah and Rena are amazing and so accommodating. They’re always there to help and always have big smiles on their faces. They really make you feel welcome.
The property itself is beautiful. The rooms are surrounded by lush green plants and I love just sitting outside my room, relaxing and taking it all in. At night it’s so peaceful and has such a nice atmosphere.
I love the pool too. I’ve had it completely to myself so many times, which is always a bonus!
The rooms are really spacious and comfortable, and I love the decor and all the Indonesian artwork. It has so much character and feels very Bali.
The location is great too.
I honestly can’t recommend Kantun Ungasan enough. After staying here so many times, it really does feel like my home away from home in Uluwatu.
I’ll definitely keep coming back.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Cleaning was done on request which is nice.
No aeration in the bathroom makes it mildly and mould forms on the walls. Proximity to the road makes it very noisy even during night time. My room got invaded by little humidity flies. And I was personally lacking privacy as all rooms are facing each others. Kitchen poorly equipped and not clean.
