great price, accessibility, 20 minutes by train from Salzburg, location and the lake, friendly staff, few guests - which increased comfort, very nice property grounds
a smelly guest, though that's not the hosts' fault; it's good to mention the specific hours when water runs, but that wasn't a problem for me, I just waited and went to the bathroom during those times; some lockers would be nice, but it was manageable without them, nothing got lost

The location is very beautiful and the lake is fantastic for swimming. Naturfreundehaus is very well kept, clean and the host put some lovely touches in the room. I wish I could have stayed by the lake and enjoyed it more but I only came for sleeping there. I treated myself for breakfast one day which was very lovely. You have to take care of the place’s rules and you share the bathroom with others. But for what you receive it was definitely worth it. 😊The hosts have a big heart.
Maybe some curtains to darken the room at night. Although it’s nice to see the original old windows as well.

Die Lage war super, leider muss man aber einen Fußweg begehen, um zum Haus zu kommen. Das heißt bei mehr Gepäck, kann es anstrengend werden. Mich hat es nicht gestört aber man geht so 12 Minuten ca. - Mir gefiel jedenfalls der Ausblick, der Steg und der See generell.
Es könnte besser beschriftet sein, dass man eben nicht ständig auf dem Handy auf Maps nachsehen muss, wie lange man noch gehen muss. Ein Schild zum Beispiel würde helfen. Außerdem ist es sehr laut gewesen von den Nachbarzimmern, sie hatten mehrere Stockbetten und waren lange wach, da ein Festival stattgefunden hatte in der Nähe. Ich war nach dem Frühstück noch kurz im Wasser und ca 1 Stunde vor Checkout wollte ich dann noch die Dusche danach nutzen - dann hat der Besitzer gesagt, dass es nicht mehr duschen geht, ich dachte es sei ein Scherz. Aber er meinte, es sei schon alles geputzt und verwies mich auf eine Outdoor Dusche im Freien ohne einer Abschirmung und ohne Seife oder ähnlichem dass man nutzen könnte. Ich musste also vor den Fremden im Bikini meine Morgendusche machen. Abseits davon war das Paar etwas unmotiviert generell, wer mir zum Beispiel das Zimmer zeigt - keiner wollte aufstehen und als ich sie darauf ansprach meinten sie "sie haben halt ständig gäste". Ich denke, das sagt vieles. Trotzdem ein schöner Ort, für Radfahrer sicher geeigneter.
