Outside facilities were good. The access to the sea for fishing was great. Plenty of space for a group. The staff were nice. Good base to explore the east of the island. The boys enjoyed the pool table.
Nice to be close to wildlife - enjoyed watching the monkeys. The wild dogs were amusing.
Disappointed that there was no beach access - thought there was from the description, photos and reviews.
Bugs and flies are a problem, which though not the fault of the owners, may be of concern for some visitors. The wild dogs are generally friendly, but late night barking can be a nuisance.
The property needs quite a bit of TLC - the photos were clearly taken a long time ago. Mostly minor matters that could be sorted very quickly and relatively in expensively, but currently let the property down.
A variety of containers were left out to catch water from the many leaks and rat poison was left under the beds, which would be a big problem if our children were younger.
The bedding and towels have seen better days - bedding old and ripped and towels stained and showing wear from age. Neither replaced during our stay.
As a fellow property owner I would recommend leaving more toilet rolls or replenishing on maid visits and leaving sufficient dishwasher tablets for the stay.
There is no oven, a minor issue, but worth noting.
A lot of cupboards etc were locked, though there was still plenty of storage. Many drawers and cupboards had property inside that looked of a personal nature. This made us feel uncomfortable when looking for items we needed. Other cupboards were chaotic and needed a bit of organisation and cleaning - think the amount of spaces makes it difficult for the staff to manage during short changeovers.
The property is on a fairly busy road which can be an issue with the frequent horns being sounded in the late and early hours. There was building work at the property next door when we were there. Little insulation means you can hear everything from outside even when all doors and windows closed.

Le cadre vraiment exceptionnel, les extérieurs avec la rivière et le petit chemin qui mène directement à la mangrove et la mer. L'équipement luxueux de la maison et la décoration. Le calme.
Le salon est assez sombre, et nous avons vu un rat dans l'une des chambres même si la maison était très propre.

La situation au calme, la disponibilité du personnel, le cadre, le Sunshine petit resto en face de la maison excellent. Les chambres confortables avec une bonne literie. Dans un écrin de verdures à quelques pas de la mangrove par un accès privé.

Très belle villa, parfaitement conforme aux photos et au descriptif. Vastes pièces très bien équipées. La climatisation dans les chambres est la bienvenue. Les extérieurs sont vraiment très agréables, la piscine un délice, et l’accès direct à l’océan par le petit sentier ombragé d’une centaine de mètres un régal. Et vous y serez seuls 😊
L’endroit est à l’écart des « spots à touristes » renforçant avantageusement la tranquillité des lieux, par ailleurs encore préservés (parc national forestier juste à côté).
2 restaurants très sympas à proximité immédiate.
Propriétaire et personnels attentionnés et très sympathiques (n’habitent pas sur place mais très réactifs si besoin).
Vraiment rien de significatif.
Lave-vaisselle en panne mais pas du tout un problème pour nous.
Pour les français, pensez à un adaptateur de prise.
Besoin d’une voiture, mais la conduite à gauche à Maurice fait aussi partie des vacances 😉
