Un piso con mucha luz y al ser una planta bastante alta corría bastante airecito por la noche, era grande y tenía todo lo necesario. Cuando les preguntamos sobre el termo de gas respondieron bastante rápido durante nuestra estancia.
No sabíamos el primer día usar el termo, luego resulto que solo había que darle al botón donde pone GAS (pero nunca lo habíamos usado así). La zona es un poco alejada de la costa y del paseo marítimo, pero con coche estábamos en 10 minutos. Los anfitriones ponían que la hora de entrada era una y solicitamos que fuera un poco antes, al llegar no estaba listo el piso; aprovechamos para ir al supermercado. Es cierto que no nos confirmaron el cambio de hora de check-in, pero tampoco nos dijeron que no.

Jacqui and Jo could not have been more helpful. Their attention to detail is evident in their great website and the instruction booklet for the cottage. It was very cosy, and the wood-burning stove worked well and added to the cosy feel. The kitchen was well organised and stocked with everything you need , including essentials such as salt, pepper, teabags etc.. and some dishwasher and detergent capsules. It was a luxury to find local produce in the fridge as well as bread and milk! We loved the small bars of artisan soap in every bathroom.
We liked the layout with a separate dining and living room, and 2.5 bathrooms. It has been tastefully modernised and is also very functional.
There were maps of local walks from the door and leaflets for walks further afield. Banchory is 15 mins drive and has plenty of cafes and restaurants. We loved it that we could walk on tracks almost completely off road to the Finzean Farm Shop for beautiful coffee , scones and local produce.
The village has a real community feel with its community woodland, playpark and football club. Great for dogs too!
