We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jardin de Mae. The host was excellent and gave us all the instructions we needed to enjoy our stay including all the privacy we would want. The facility was well equipped with all the utensils you would need to make meals. The AC in the adjacent building worked great during a very hot stretch of weather. We really spent a lot of time in the very large pool, morning and late night swims. The outdoor kitchen took a bit getting used to but it was quite a bit of fun. Also has a whirlpool which we did not use as it was hot enough. There is also a serious, excellent BBQ which we did not use as it was too hot. The tortoises wandering about added some entertainment by watching them waddle about. Truly a unique and wonderful property.
The only thing that we were not so keen about was the bed in the loft. The stairs were not a problem but we did have to duck as we got into bed as the ceiling was quite low. However, this was a small inconvenience considering all the other incredible features of the property.
