The solidness of the mud brick dwelling had a very relaxing effect and all slept well. And a change from creaky NZ builds .
Host Dave was friendly and helpful. The woodburner for winter was a major draw and reason we booked
kitchen ( self catering is important for us ) equipment / utensils lacking but I’m sure this will be improved .
Note there’s lots of sleeping space but bathroom with WC in it ,means it’s suited to a max no . We were 5 males and any more and we’d be cramped in lounge .
There a rustic charm , but build is unfinished ( interior detailing )

Loved the location (secluded rural outlook), house and the hosts. The hosts were really helpful, and the 6 beds was exactly what we needed for a large group of singles. Lots of nice touches.
only addition that would have improved this stay was a second toilet / bathroom

Warm, inviting house. Dave, who lives upstairs, was very accommodating, conducting a jam session with our guitar obsessed son and guiding us through a breath work session. Any items missing were provided quickly upon request.

It was so lovely to have somewhere we could take our dogs, so relaxed and Dave was so friendly and helpful.
