The location was great!
I honestly have no idea what this place was originally designed to be, but it feels like either it was designed by someone who had absolutely no understanding of basic convenience and usability, or it was built for an entirely different purpose and then very poorly repurposed into a rental unit. Nothing about the layout feels practical. The electrical outlets are installed in bizarre locations, roughly five feet off the ground, and the light switches are similarly awkwardly placed. The entrance is extremely narrow, there are strange angles everywhere, and there are elevation changes between rooms that make simply moving around the place unnecessarily awkward.
But the worst part is the bathroom. The shower drains onto the same floor that you have to walk across to reach the toilet and sink. Because the drains throughout the house are at least partially clogged, the water does not drain properly and the bathroom floor remains wet for a long time. The tile texture and poor floor slope make the problem even worse. This means that after someone takes a shower, anyone who needs to use the toilet afterward has no choice but to walk through a wet, soapy floor. And if you shower before going to bed and then have to use the bathroom during the night, expect to get your feet wet walking across the floor and then get back into bed with wet feet.
Even the basic kitchen setup is bizarre: for some reason, there is only one fork. Not one per guest—just one fork. It is hard to understand how a rental unit intended for multiple people ends up with a single fork.
This is not just a matter of personal taste or aesthetics—the layout, drainage, and basic amenities create genuinely inconvenient and poorly thought-out living conditions. Overall, this was one of the least practical rental spaces I have stayed in.
