Very good service and value for money. Perfect for a night between in dar es Salaam where you want to stay close to the airport.
They also accommodated our dietary requirements very well.
Not much, just a few tiny details, which just come with the nature of it being in the heart of a big city.

I chose this hotel as it was close to the airport and looked comfortable for my brief layover (landed at 6pm and left at 8am the next day). The lovely Tedday was waiting for me at the airport and her an a colleague escorted me to the hotel. Folowing a brief check in process, she showed me the room and provided her number in case I needed anything. I had eaten a big lunch so did not sample the menu.
The room was adequate for the price and clean. it had aircon and a fan but no safe. The bed was comfortable and a mosquito net was provided all though it was not as easy as some of the others to navigate out of at night. Water and bananas were provided in the room, as well as disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste and toiletries.
In the morning Tedday gave me a tour of the hotel, highlighting the different fruit trees. The grounds are pretty and there is a pool, a bar and a boxing gym on site. Breakfast started with fruit and was followed by an omelette, toast and rice bread before getting back in the car to transfer back to the airport.
The area the hotel is in did not make me feel safe but this could be an unfair assessment as I did not explore outside of the hotel. I did download the Google map on my phone as I wasn't sure where we were headed at certain points of our journey. but it all went seamlessly and the hotel is less than 10 minutes away from the airport.
They operate cash only and it is tricky to find clean, unfolded, untorn USD notes that are less than 2 years old. I ordered currency specifically for this purpose but if they were able to accept card payment this would have been helpful, They did have a good menu but did not really cater for gluten allergies.

Beautiful grounds, well kept. Staff were brilliant and so helpful (also arranged collection from the airport).

The piece and quietness of the place
