The ceiling in the master bathroom is peeling. Owner said it was a new roof and there was a leak that the roofing co couldn't find and the fix is in process. The washer that is usually usable in most VRBOs had disgusting build up where the fabric softener insert goes. Then I turned down the bed in what would be a girl's room. There was dried blood on the sheets. I opened the drawers and found more sheets to change them and notified the owner. Then I pulled back the fitted sheet to reveal a blood stain on the mattress pad along with hair. Then I pulled that off to reveal a very stained memory foam mattress. When I sent the pictures to the owner his explanation was that his middle school daughter spills things.... i suggested then put a waterproof cover over a new mattress because there is no way I could sleep on that knowing what was under there. Long story short I called VRBO customer service, who Then contacted David. He canceled on his end and VRBO is making sure we get a refund. The VRBO rep also stated that he would have someone inspect the property because it is unhygienic and falls under environmental reason for cancelation. Not to mention it looked like they shoved all of their personal belongings into closets and what not to hide them in a hurry. Usually, in every other VRBO those are in a locked closet or basement. See attached photos that were also sent to VRBO customer service.

About this house rental

3 bedroom family home conveniently located in West Nashville. 15 min to downtown & 15 min to Franklin. Just a few minutes to St. Thomas Hospital and Vanderbilt Clinic. 3 minute drive to Belle Meade Mansion and Belle Meade Country Club.
Walk to Percy Warner Park hiking & bike trails. 2.5 mi to Percy Warner Golf Course. Uber downtown usually less than $15 - 20. Great for families with children. There is a train track that runs behind the house through Belle Meade but it’s so sparse you may not see it. Large backyard & patio. 3 minutes to Cheekwood and St.Georges Episcopal Church.
