The apartment was located in a good place to be able to walk into the centre and visit The Auckland Project, etc. We were able to park for free outside the property. We had all we needed in the apartment for our stay. Well resourced and nice touches take you feel welcome. Comfortable beds, etc.
Entry steps from the street are very narrow and tricky with suitcase. A few things could do with a refresh eg blinds in lounge are a bit torn and don't all work anymore

Really spacious, huge beds with comfy pillows and duvets.
The bath and shower were really lovely and the toys and games provided were appreciated by my kids! Really convenient location for town and free street parking. We used it as a bast to visit Kynren, which was a 3 minute drive away and was a phenomenal day out. Lots of local amenities nearby. We enjoyed our stay and having Netflix on the tv was super helpful!
The towels provided were an eclectic mix and some of them were very old. It would be nice to have a full set of new towels as they were all different colours/sizes and some were definitely very old. They were clean.
The carpet may need washed as there was a slight texture to suggest it may have had dogs in there a bit, I actually had to wash my feet before bed and there was brown residue from the carpet on my skin. And I did have a shower after arriving at the property so this was after about 6 hours. The carpet did look clean/hoovered but the stairs up to the apartment did have dog hair visible so it’s probably residue from dogs being at the property.
It’s only a minor thing.

Spacious reasonably good location large rooms
Not up to usual standard experience from Booking .com establishments.The bedding was creased clearly not ironed, toilet seat cracked, dangerously loose carpet on stairs particularly the bottom stair,peeling paint on the wall going up the stairs. We couldn't use the washing machine as someone had left washing in it!! I could go on further but think these are enough to
