Dream come true
A little piece of paradise away from mankind. And yet still didnt feel too disconnected because the signal for telkomsel is pretty strong there 😆 the reef is absolutely stunning and full of life. The owner's family are sweet and kind and often play music on their guitar, ukulele and home made instruments which really adds to the charm of the place. You'll eat a lot of fish here which is the freshest You'll ever get and deliciously prepared (bonus recipes if you're lucky enough to be there when Taka is here on his fishing trips 😂) the bungalows are clean and cozy, the view is amazing. The bathroom is basic meaning no running water, you shower with a bucket. I really enjoyed the rustic lifestyle though. It gives a "cast away on a deserted island" vibe and i love it. One of the guys, Rido goes spearfishing for fresh fish and at some point could see i was hesitant to snorkel away from the bungalows because the sharks are very present at this reef so he took me with him to swim all around it which was worth it because every side looks different and houses different fish. Even grandma went fishing for dinner from time to time but from the shallows of the reef which is very sweet. While snorkeling the shallows on the peak of high tide I saw a turtle, stingrays, tons of small but colorful fish, octopus (in the tide pools at low tide) clown fish right by the docks, and if you're lucky you can spot cuttlefish at night. The variety of fish is impressive and the corals look stunning as well. Overall I had an amazing stay and it was definitely a dream come true.
I wouldn't say " I didn't like" it per se but the kids can be a bit much to handle if you're not a kid person as they will follow you around, ask to play with you and pretty much almost become your own while you are here 😂 they are very cute though so if you like kids or have kids you'll have friends your entire stay.

Beautiful small Homestay with great house reef
Great Location with three huts over the water, wonderful house reef, food was typical RA but yummi and plenty. Super nice staff which also offered good snorkel trip to Citrus Reef- a must go- a super healthy reef nearby. Facility were very basic, but didn’t bother us. All in all we liked it a lot and would highly recommend it.
Except the very basic facilities, all was great.

Nice place to stay! Unforgettable experience!
Staying at this homestay in Raja Ampat was truly a magical experience. The natural surroundings are absolutely breathtaking — crystal-clear water, lush green islands, and some of the most beautiful marine life I’ve ever seen. It feels like being in a dream.
The whole environment is peaceful and untouched, allowing you to fully disconnect and enjoy nature at its purest. If you’re looking for a simple, authentic, and unforgettable experience, this place is perfect.
The only small suggestion would be to improve the variety of food, as some days it can feel a bit limited. The vegetable dishes were always delicious! Thank you!

Homestay with magical reef and friendly staff
We had a wonderful stay in Korbekwan! It's so idyllic. Stunning seascape. We woke up in the mornings to birds and dolphins jumping, a whale, magical sunrises and a truely great reef. We saw humphead wrasse, sharks, sea snakes, squid, and too many others to note. We went on some excellent excursions organised by the homestay and swimming with manta rays will always be something to remember. The food was basic but good- lovely veg, and freshly caught fish. The people there are very friendly. Also hugely good value for money

The location is very beautiful and the house reef around the homestay is very healthy and alive.
The location is very remote, not on Aborek but opposite the island, meaning that you need to take the boat (and pay expensive trip fees) whenever you want to go outside of the homestay. The owner was not present when we were there and nobody spoke any english. The food was very basic and sometimes not enough (rice with 4 eggs for 6 people at one lunch). As the homestay is in the mangrove, there are wildlife visits at night, even when there is no food in the room.
