The architecture of the hotel is great, marble floors and stone arches from when it was a monastery. Great care was clearly taken in designing the rooms and the rest of the building.
It seriously needed a space where can lie in the sun. One had to walk ten minutes and pay e30 for a sun bed or lie on a rather pebbly beach below the hotel.

We loved our stay. The location was fantastic, the room was beautiful and comfortable, and everything felt very well cared for. It was a wonderful place to stay in Ortigia.
There was nothing significant we disliked. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and were genuinely sad to leave. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing, and the entire stay felt comfortable and enjoyable from beginning to end. We truly appreciated the care and attention to detail, and we would happily return in the future.

Best stay ever. I'v almost forgot how an hotel should be. This is how. Just perfect. Luchino was great, writing with a pen on a paper map places its another style. Everyone knows what being an hotel means and it shall means home.
There is nothing to dislike here, sorry.

Very well located in Ortigia, the historic center, shops and restaurants are within walking distance. The hotel reception staff is extremely attentive and friendly. The hotel is well decorated, in a luxurious manner and the room with a sea view is very comfortable. The breakfast is tasty, but not excellent, perhaps due to our personal taste as we don't value so many sweet options and would prefer to have more options of savory breads, cold cuts, etc. But overall the hotel is great and we would stay there again without a doubt.
