Terrible experience

Nothing

Extremely disappointing and completely unacceptable experience for a property listed on Booking.com. We arrived at the apartment around 5:00 PM, although check-in started at 3:00 PM, and the apartment was absolutely not ready for guests: very bad smell; dirty toilet; no toilet paper; no bed linens prepared; the apartment was clearly not cleaned and not suitable for accommodation. We tried contacting the property several times by phone with no answer. After almost 2 hours of chat conversations, we were told that someone was “on the way” to clean the apartment. By then it was already close to 7:00 PM, and we were travelling with two exhausted children who had been awake since 4:00 AM. Waiting several more hours for the apartment to become habitable was simply not realistic. We were forced to urgently book another hotel and leave immediately. What is even more disappointing is the lack of responsibility afterwards. We were later informed that no refund could be offered because “the apartment was cleaned later.” The fact that the issue was eventually fixed does not change the reality that, at the moment of check-in, the accommodation was not usable. We have photos, videos, and screenshots of the conversations proving the situation. I absolutely do not recommend this property, especially for families with children. Total lack of professionalism, organization, and respect for guests.
