The apartment was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The owner lives downstairs and made us fresh blueberry muffins on arrival even though we were very late because of snow and an incorrect address provided via the agents. Thank you, they were delicious! Basics like tea and coffee also provided. Great and quiet place near to Plitvice national park.
The agents who the property is managed through. We kept messaging to ask if the property was still accessible as nearby Plitvice Lakes had completely closed due to heavy snow. They kept referring us to the caretaker details on the booking info, but we couldn’t get a reply from the email address provided and were unable to use our UK phones to call the local number. The agents replied to emails, but without any useful additional information. When we explained that we would arrive after check-in time and wanted to make sure the host would be there (at this point we didn’t know the host lived on site), they told us it was within the check-in window of 4-10pm despite their previous info stating that it was 4-8pm. The address provided via booking.com was also incorrect so we ended up in the wrong place in the dark and snow with a ten year old with no way of finding out where to actually go. After much faffing to figure out a way to call, we got through to the agents who gave us the actual address, a 15 minute drive away.

Apartment Josipa was so cute and incredibly clean! It was so close to Plitviče and was convenient to get there quickly after a day of hiking. We loved relaxing on the terrace at night stargazing. Thank you so much!
