Location, location, location. We stayed in the Executive, two level unit and had Incredible views of Lions Head, Table Mountain and the coast. Chantal and her sister were lovely, very helpful and prompt with communication prior to arrival and during our stay. Our primary warning would be for the driveway. With a +/- 45 degree incline, it is not suited for all vehicle types and when wet, risky. We also had some inconsiderate guests during our stay who monopolized the parking area which made it very difficult for us to park after day trips. Some paint lines to define separate spaces may be helpful. You will also need to meet uber rides at the bottom, so mobility may be a concern for some. Our only other unit-specific concern was wear and tear. We paid for the view but it is clearly in need of updating. Very large stains on the carpets, several on the curtains, and a few on the bedding. The mattress was also quite weak on one side.

Lovely friendly staff, recommended an excellent sea food restaurant in Camps Bay (Codfather). We were a touch cold as it was a chilly night. Very steep driveway 😃 We were only in for a night. May have preferred something closer to town of staying longer.

Of course. I’d make We stayed at Auberge Guest House while supporting the England U18 Rugby Tour, and overall we had a very enjoyable and memorable stay. The absolute stars of Auberge are Chanel and Sister. They genuinely deserve a pay rise to reflect the brilliant work they do! You really could not ask for better housekeepers. They were warm, helpful and attentive throughout our stay, and their knowledge of the local area was invaluable. Whether we needed recommendations for restaurants, wines or places to visit, they were always happy to help and gave excellent suggestions. The view from the guest house is simply breathtaking – almost surreal. Waking up to that scenery was one of the highlights of our stay. The surrounding area is peaceful and relaxing, making it a lovely place to unwind. There are, however, a couple of areas that I feel could be improved. The drive up to the property is definitely not for the faint-hearted! The road/driveway would benefit greatly from resurfacing, particularly to improve tyre grip and make the approach feel safer. Breakfast was pleasant, but after staying for several days, we found it became a little monotonous. A wider variety of choices from day to day would make a noticeable difference, particularly for guests staying longer. Overall, Auberge is a beautiful place in a stunning set.
