The location is really good, has 2 affordable Warungs right across the street and the best thing of this hostel is you can use the common areas of Pipes (the hostel next door which is an amazing place to hang out and socialize. Furthermore Anjani is a super simple hostel, doesn’t have much because doesn’t need more.
Sometimes the bathroom was smelly from the sewer. Right next to the hostel there’s a dry river which is dirty.

Emplacement ok, à 20min à pied de la rue principale
Petite case avec rideau, salle de bain grande, une grande douche, toilettes à part (juste vitre transparente..)

The yoga patio on the roof is quite nice, with plenty of hammocks to chill in. Staff are friendly. They are very chill about letting people go next door to Pipes Hostel to use the pool, bar, etc
Rooms are comfy enough and the place is quiet.
While nothing was horrible per se, the staff could definitely be a bit more on top of the cleaning.
The AC unit in my private room had a strong smell of mildew.
The bed was comfy and clean at least but the room could use some love in the form of a deep clean.
The shared bathroom/shower in the private area is ok, but not the most private (just a shower curtain for privacy).
Again it was ok overall but you can get better for your money in Kuta.

Die Zimmer war groß, sehr geräumig und es gab einen Schrank. Die Dachterasse war sehr schön und dort konnte man gut arbeiten, weil man dort auch gutes WIFI hatte. Man konnte für 60Rp/Tag ein sehr gutes Moped ausleihen, das man bei der Lage auch braucht. Das Nachbarhostel ist sehr cool und auch der gegenüberliegende Essensstand von "Mama" ist hervorragend! Wir haben dort täglich gegessen. Gut war auch, dass es warmes Wasser gab. Auch der Preis ist im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften in Kuta gut.
Das Bad war nicht sehr sauber - schon als wir angekommen sind, roch es stark nach Urin aus der Toilette. Auch nach der Zimmerreinigung änderte sich der Geruch im Bad nicht, es wurde erst etwas besser als wir die Toilette selber putzten (wir hatten 14 Tage gebucht, deswegen wollten wir selbst etwas ändern). Die Mitarbeiter:innen waren oft nicht sehr motiviert und die Zimmer waren zudem sehr hellhörig und das Bett knarrte bei jeder Bewegung. Es ist schade, weil man viel aus der Unterkunft machen könnte, aber irgendwie wird nur das bare minimum getan. Es erfüllt aber seinen Zweck und nach ca. einer Woche tauten einige Mitarbeiter:innen auch etwas auf. Wiederkommen würden wir aber nicht.
