Mooie ligging aan zee. Zeer aardig personeel. De hosts waren erg behulpzaam met alles. Een fantastisch restaurant met topkwaliteit eten. Kamers comfortabel en modern design
Alles was goed, alleen in de directe omgeving is niks te doen.

The staff are genuinely friendly and always willing to help. The hotel itself is new, well-maintained, has nice big pool with a bar. The food is quite good by Senegalese standards. Possibility to book a transfer from/to the airport.
1. Surrounding area. While the swimming pool is cleaned every day, nobody seems to make any effort to clean the grounds outside the hotel. Plastic bottles, bags, and other rubbish are scattered everywhere.
2. To reach the ocean, you have to cross a lagoon with dirty water. Not only is it full of floating trash, but it also appears to receive sewage and wastewater. The beach on the ocean side is also covered with large amounts of litter, making it far from the paradise you might expect.
3. Hotel’s pricing policy. It feels as though the owners are focused primarily on extracting as much money as possible from their guests. Be prepared to pay three to four times the normal price for almost everything. Wine is a particularly shocking example: inexpensive European wines that would be considered budget bottles back home are sold here for well over €100 per bottle.
4. Half-board package is very misleading. In reality, it is structured in such a way that you will almost certainly end up paying at least as much again as you paid for your original booking. There are numerous extra charges, and the system feels intentionally designed to encourage additional spending rather than providing a genuine half-board experience.
