Very nice location, close to Lyon but less crowded and busy. Public transport and the Vélov system are within a few minutes’ walk. By car it was about 20 min to the center of Lyon, or 10 minutes to the Tete d’Or park which is really lovely. In 20 minutes you can reach the nature park close to Miribel.
The owners were easily reachable and very helpful!
Our dog and baby were also welcomed and the owners provided a baby bed.
The kitchen and bathroom were well-equipped. It was great to have the option to cook (oven, stovetop and microwave all worked quite well), to have a washing machine as we were traveling with our baby, and a vacuum cleaner and cleaning products were also available which is nice as we stayed for a week.
It is nice to have a separate sitting room apart from the kitchen.
A few things we noticed:
It is mentioned in the reviews I think, but there is a train track very close by so from about 6 am to 11 pm there is the sound of trains every so often.
The apartment has two extra beds on the upper floor, but this is a very small room and can get very hot in the summer.
And don’t forget to bring or buy mosquito repellent, there are many mosquitos in the alley leading to the house and also on the terrace.

La petite maison est toute mignonne, dans un joli quartier pavillonnaire. On se gare sans problème dans la rue. La chambre est spacieuse avec une très bonne literie et suffisamment de rangements. La salle de bains est moderne avec une belle douche et les WC sont séparés. La cuisine est extrêmement bien équipée aussi bien en électroménager qu’en vaisselle. Il y a tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin (sel, huile, sucre etc).
La wifi fonctionne bien, la télé aussi.
Nous n’avons pas utilisé les lits de l’étage.
La maison est lumineuse et les vues depuis les fenêtres sont verdoyantes.
La terrasse est bien aménagée et nous y serions volontiers restés un peu si nous n’avions pas eu un temps affreux.
Hôtes très bien organisés.
La ligne de train est proche et les passages sont évidemment un peu bruyants mais il n’y a pas de trains de marchandises et donc rien la nuit.
J’ai déjà testé plusieurs locations dans le coin car j’ai souvent l’occasion d’y voir de la famille et, malgré ce petit défaut, c’est à ce jour ma préférée.

At man skal betale depositum via et link efter booking er foretaget - Booking.com skriver, at man aldrig har yderligere betaling efter booking. Booking.com opfordrer ligeledes til, at man undgår at klikke på betalingslinks. Vores bank ville ikke godkende betalingen af depositum. Dette betød dels, at det tog ca 45 minutter førend vi kunne få koden til nøgleboksen. Og dels detød det, at ejeren hele tiden pressede os til at gentage betalingen via betalingslink. Vi brugte så meget tid på at skrive med ejeren - og forsøge at få kontakt til vores bank - at vi besluttede at forlade huset en dag tidligere end forventet.
I husets guide fandt vi endvidere en besked om, at betale yderligere 60 euro "call-out-fee". Vi har aldrig tidligere hørt om "call-out-fee".
